It’s important to note that crevices are larger than burrow holes, which means they are easier to navigate. But be careful not to confuse burrow holes with burrows, as the latter are containers that can be looted if your party notices them.

How to Enter Crevices

When facing crevices, you have a wider range of options to choose from:

  • Cast Disguise Self to transform into a Halfling or Gnome and squeeze through.
  • Cast Wild Shape to become a smaller creature, like a cat, and navigate effortlessly.
  • Cast Gaseous Form to transform into a gas and breeze through.
  • Cast Enlarge-Reduce to shrink yourself down and fit into the crevice.

How to Enter Burrows

Burrows require a slightly different approach:

  • Cast Wild Shape to become a smaller creature, such as a spider, and crawl inside with ease.
  • Cast Gaseous Form to transform into a gas and travel through the tunnels.
  • Cast Enlarge-Reduce to shrink yourself down. However, note that this method only works for smaller races like Halflings or Gnomes. Size matters, folks!
