Exciting Changes Coming to Destiny 2 Season 22

Great news, Guardians! Bungie is stepping up their game with some exciting changes to Destiny 2’s economy and post-match rewards in the upcoming Season 22. Get ready for a fresh dose of action as new weapons make their way into the game!

But first, let’s talk about storytelling. The previous Lightfall DLC had its fair share of mixed reviews, but Bungie listened to the community and redeemed themselves with a fantastic narrative in the Season of the Deep. Finally, we got answers about The Veil and saw the origins of the formidable foe, The Witness. And, believe it or not, they even added fishing as an activity! Who says saving the universe can’t be relaxing?

However, one issue that haunted us was the underwhelming rewards from ritual activities. Thankfully, Bungie has taken note of our complaints and promised some much-needed improvements. With Season 22, you’ll have a higher chance of scoring epic loot from strikes, Gambit, and Crucible. Say hello to ritual engrams packed with powerful weapons and armor, and you won’t have to wait for the next season to unlock them. Isn’t that a relief?

Hold on to your Ghosts, because Bungie has added nine new weapons to the mix. And guess what? The crowd-favorite Trials of Osiris Hand Cannon, GameTopiceous Hammer, is making a triumphant comeback as a new archetype. Get ready to wield this beauty and make your enemies quake in their boots!

Now, let’s talk money. The in-game economy is getting a revamp, with increased caps on Masterwork materials. You’ll be able to stockpile 30 Ascendant Shards and Ascendant Alloys, and Enhancement Prisms will have a capacity of 100. Plus, no more lost materials! They’ll stay safely in your inventory from now on, which means no more frustrating trips to the Postmaster. Just be careful not to reach the cap, as you won’t receive any more materials once you hit that limit. Bungie is also working on larger economy changes, ensuring our currency doesn’t fly away like Glimmer in a sandstorm.

That’s not all, folks! Season 22 will shake things up by buffing the underutilized exotics and nerfing the ones that have been too powerful for their own good. It’s time for balance to prevail! And brace yourselves, because whispers suggest that Savathun, the master of deception, might make an appearance in Season 22. Get ready for a battle unlike any other.

And let’s not forget the icing on the cake – a raid reprisal is on the horizon! Will we face the horrors of Crota’s End or the machinations of Wrath of the Machine? Only time will tell.

Remember, Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. So grab your gear, rally your fireteam, and prepare for an unforgettable adventure in Season 22!
