Fallout 4

Fallout 4 isn’t just a game, it’s a way of life! With its massive open-world and endless hours of fun, you’ll be hooked faster than a radroach on jet. And let me tell you, dear reader, this game has more quests than a Brahmin has udders!

So many quests, so little time

There are 144 quests in total in Fallout 4! That’s right, I counted them all so you don’t have to. Some of these quests are as unavoidable as a Deathclaw’s roar, while others are hidden away like a secret cache of Nuka-Cola. But fear not, for I am here to guide you through the wasteland and highlight the most rewarding side quests.

Troubled Waters

Troubled Waters

Reward: Graygarden as a settlement Acquisition: Join the Minutemen and speak with Preston Garvey (alternatively, listen to Radio Freedom)

In an unforgiving wasteland, having a place to call home is a true luxury. Enter Graygarden, a fully automated hydroponic garden run by robots. Getting this settlement is as sweet as a Nuka-Cola Quantum. Not only does it have plenty of land for crops, but the robots never need to be fed. So grow those mutfruit, friend, and trade them for a pretty penny!

Memory Interrupted

Desdemona in Memory Interrupted

Reward: Two Railroad Stealth Boys Acquisition: Be a Railroad member and complete ‘The Butcher’s Bill 2’ quest, then return to Old North Church where you will see Carrington and Desdemona

The Railroad fights the Institute’s “evil” plans, and with this quest, you’ll be sticking it to those synth-loving jerks. Join forces with Glory and eliminate any Gen one synths at the Malden Center. Once the area is cleared, head back to Desdemona for your reward. Prepare to disappear like a Stealth Boy on steroids with not one, but two, Railroad Stealth Boys!

Pickman’s Gift

Pickman’s Gift

Reward: Pickman’s Blade Acquisition: Step inside the Pickman Gallery

Enter the creepy Pickman Gallery and help out the guy himself. It’s a bloody good time! Fight off raiders, save Pickman, and receive a key to his safe behind a secret painting called “Picnic For Stanley.” Open that bad boy up and claim Pickman’s Blade, a wickedly unique melee weapon. Nothing says “I mean business” like a blade covered in the blood of your enemies!

Calling all cat lovers! Vault 81 needs your help to retrieve their runaway feline, Ashes. Head into the wasteland and locate Ashes in one of two possible spots near the Chestnut Hillock Reservoir. Fusion cores are rarer than clean underwear in the wasteland, so snag that fusion core and power up your way to victory!

Short Stories

Vaults aren’t just filled with secrets and radroaches, my friend. Head over to Vault 81 and have a chat with Katy, the vault’s enthusiastic teacher. Tell her a thrilling story about your adventures in the Commonwealth, and she’ll reward you with a Grognak the Barbarian comic. This magazine will make your melee attacks even deadlier, so go barbarian on those baddies!

The Big Dig

The Big Dig

Reward: Ashmaker and John Hancock as a Companion Acquisition: Go to Goodneighbor and speak with Bobbi

Bobbi’s got a job for you, and it’s all about discretion. But things aren’t as they seem, my friend. Will you continue down the path of mischief with Bobbi, stand by your friend Hancock, or convince Bobbi to surrender? Choose wisely, for your decision will determine if you get your hands on the Ashmaker, a legendary minigun that shoots bullets of pure destruction. Plus, if you side with Hancock, you’ll have a new, kick-ass companion by your side!

Prepare to put on your lab coat and safety goggles because science is calling! Help the Nanny bot Molly and complete a 200-year-old science project in Cambridge Polymer Labs. You’ll be trapped in the facility until it’s finished, so put your thinking cap on. At the end of this zany experiment, you’ll be rewarded with a Piezonucleic power armor chest. Calling all thrill-seekers! Trinity Tower is waiting for you, and so is Strong, a lovable and brutal super mutant. Answer the distress call from Rex Goodman and make your way to the top of the tower to rescue him. Upon completion, you’ll be rewarded with either Reginald’s suit or Agatha’s dress (depending on your character’s gender), which will boost your charisma. And the cherry on top? Constitution to the Atlantic Ocean, but be prepared for a crash landing like no other. At the end of this wild adventure, you’ll be rewarded with the Broadsider, a fearsome weapon that fires cannonballs. Blast your enemies to smithereens with the power of naval artillery!

Hole In The Wall

Hole In The Wall

Reward: A Syringer Rifle and Curie as a Companion Acquisition: Enter Vault 81, donate blood to Dr. Forsythe, and then leave the vault for at least 24 in-game hours

Vault 81 strikes again with another exciting quest that’ll have your heart pounding faster than a protectron on Psycho. When one of the kids in the vault falls ill, it’s up to you to find a cure. Venture through the hidden passages of the vault, avoiding deadly mole rats like a pro. Along the way, you’ll meet Curie, a charming robot who’s been working on the cure for years. Make a choice, save the kid or keep the cure for yourself, and explore the wasteland with Curie as your loyal companion. And as a bonus, you’ll be rewarded with a Syringer Rifle, so you can give your enemies a little “shot” of justice!
