What’s the Buzz About Vertigo 2?

🎮 Watch the gameplay video here to see how Vertigo 2 stacks up!

The first 5 chapters of Vertigo 2 provide a thrilling hour and 20 minutes of gameplay, giving you just a taste of what’s to come in the full 18-chapter experience. From my initial impressions, it’s clear that Vertigo 2 lives up to its promise of being a Valve-esque VR adventure. While it may not have the same level of production value as Half-Life: Alyx, it makes up for it with its inventive gameplay and dark humor. Imagine the feeling of stepping into a portal straight from Aperture Labs!

What to Expect on PSVR2

In terms of compatibility, PSVR2 handles movement and interactions perfectly. However, there were some noticeable framerate drops when transitioning from cramped corridors to expansive open areas. Don’t just take my word for it, though – watch the video and see for yourself!

The Sense Controllers of the PSVR2, unfortunately, underutilize the haptics feature. Not all weapons provide haptic feedback upon firing, and when they do, it’s rather subtle. As for headset haptics, if they are present, I didn’t feel them during my video recording session.

But let’s not nit-pick! These are minor details in the grand scheme of things. Considering Vertigo 2 was developed by a solo creator, the overall quality is truly impressive. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t make Vertigo 2 your next PSVR2 purchase.
