Naruto: Fate of Tailed-Beasts post 4th Great Ninja War
The Wholesome Tale of the Tailed-Beasts After the 4th Great Ninja War
The Tailed-Beasts have always played a significant role in the Naruto series, from Naruto’s journey to the ambitions of Akatsuki. But have you ever wondered what happened to them after the epic 4th Great Ninja War? Well, buckle up because the answer is surprisingly heartwarming!
The Tailed-Beasts During the War
Before the war, Akatsuki was on a mission to capture the Jinchuriki and extract their tailed-beasts. Little did we know that their goal was to revive the legendary Ten-Tailed beast for Madara’s Infinite Tsukuyomi plan. The Ninja Alliance, aware of this, hid Naruto and Killer B, the jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails and Eight-Tails, to protect them. However, they soon realized that Naruto and Killer B’s immense power could be vital in winning the war. Eventually, the enemy managed to snatch some of their chakra, but Naruto and Killer B survived, while the other seven tailed-beasts were sealed within the Ten-Tailed beast.
The Tailed-Beasts’ Wholesome Aftermath
Towards the end of the war, the original sage of the Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, appeared and helped Naruto and Sasuke defeat Kaguya Otsutsuki. After the battle, Hagoromo restored the tailed-beasts to their original forms and had a heart-to-heart conversation with them. He gave them the freedom to choose their own paths. Surprisingly, most of the tailed-beasts decided to return to their ancient homes – secluded forests, hidden caves, and vast mountains. It seems they were tired of being locked away and wanted to roam freely again.
However, the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails had different plans. They had formed strong bonds with their jinchuriki, Killer B and Naruto, and chose to stay by their sides. Respecting their wishes, Hagoromo returned their captured chakra, making them whole again. It was a touching decision that showcased the unique friendships that had formed between these powerful beings and their human counterparts.
Naruto’s New Role as a Tailed-Beast Host
During the war, Naruto gained the trust of all the tailed-beasts, who lent him their chakra. As a result, Naruto now had fragments of all nine tailed-beasts within him, enabling communication between them. Recognizing this special connection, Hagoromo designated Naruto, or more specifically, the space within Naruto where the Nine-Tails resided, as the meeting place for the tailed-beasts. To protect this meeting place, the Nine-Tails willingly took on the role of guardian, staying within Naruto as before. This meant that Naruto became the home and connection for all the tailed-beasts, allowing them to communicate whenever they pleased.

They found solace in reuniting with their old homes and treasured friendships. And with Naruto as their host and meeting ground, the tailed-beasts’ story took a heartwarming turn. After all the trials they endured, it’s delightful to see them find peace and happiness.
