Remnant 2: Faelin or Faerin Choice Guide

Remnant 2: Faelin or Faerin Choice Guide

Remnant 2: Should You Kill Faelin or Faerin?

After inserting the Faelin and Faerin Mural Pieces into the large circle in Remnant 2’s Palace Courtyard, brace yourselves for the showdown with Faelin and Faerin in the Beatific and Malefic Galleries. These bosses are quite picky and insist that only one can remain standing. But before you make that critical decision, let’s dive into the thrilling consequences that await!

The Imposter Showdown

The first things to consider when deciding between Faelin and Faerin are the awesome rewards you’ll receive. Both choices will grant you a weapon and a ring, but the specific goodies depend on who you take down. Here’s the lowdown on what each imposter brings to the table:

Faelin - Deceit
  • Faerin’s Sigil (Ring): Critical and Weak Spot Hits generate 10% additional Mod Power.
Faerin - Godsplitter
  • Faelin’s Sigil (Ring): Melee damage generates 10% additional Mod Power.

Take a moment to let that sink in. Killing Faelin in the Beatific Gallery rewards ranged builds, while slaying Faerin in the Malefic Gallery empowers melee enthusiasts. The choice boils down to your playstyle and preferred archetype in Remnant 2. Choose wisely, my fellow adventurers!

But hold your horses! You won’t receive these fabulous items immediately after the confrontation with the imposter. True to the gaming gods’ mischievous nature, you’ll receive a crafting material (Imposter’s Heart or Melded Hilt) instead. Head over to Ava McCabe in Ward 13, where she can forge the associated weapon using the crafting material, along with some Luminite Crystals and Scrap. As for the coveted rings, you can collect them by talking to the remaining imposter after their counterpart is no more.

Switching the Imposter Scenes

Now, let’s explore the thrilling act of switching between the Faelin and Faerin scenarios. It’s not as complex as deciphering a cryptic riddle; trust me, you got this!

To switch between Faelin and Faerin’s locations, all you need to do is pull the lever at the center of the mural where you placed the Faelin and Faerin Mural Pieces. Give that sucker a good yank, and watch the large circle spin! If the light half of the circle points towards the door, rejoice, for it shall lead you to the Beatific Gallery and Faelin himself. But if the dark half faces the door, you’re in for some heart-pounding action with Faerin in his Malefic Gallery.

Prepare to enter the stunning realm of Remnant 2 on July 25th, available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. You won’t want to miss this thrilling adventure!
