How To Unlock Coffin Pods
Congratulations, you’ve found the coffin pods! Time to crack them open and claim your rewards. But hold your horses, there’s one final hurdle to overcome.
Prepare yourself for the Dark Conduit dungeon – the key to unlocking the coffins. Enter this mysterious place and restore power by taking down loads of Parasite enemies. They may be numerous, but their health is relatively low. So grab a weapon with some killer area-of-effect damage or an endless supply of ammo, and let the carnage begin!
Once power is restored, head back to the dungeon’s start point and find the glorious exit elevator. Lo and behold, there’s a console waiting for you! Activate it, and a supply ship will take flight, hovering over each coffin pod that you’ve activated.
The ship will then deposit each pod in the area below, like an epic loot treasure explosion. Make your way down there and open those pods! Inside, you’ll discover amazing items like Scrap, Iron, Galvanized Resupply Band (Ring), the Difference Engine (Amulet), and of course, the coveted Star Shot (Handgun).
Oh, and here’s a pro tip: you can complete the Dark Conduit dungeon and restore power to the ship even before finding any of the coffin pods. In this case, the ship will magically retrieve each pod as soon as you touch it. But honestly, where’s the fun in that? We recommend finding the pods first to avoid any pesky backtracking.
