Persona 5: The Phantom X – A Bigger and Better Shinjuku!
Hey gamers, get ready to revisit the amazing world of Persona 5 in its upcoming spin-off, Persona 5: The Phantom X! In this exciting new video, we get a glimpse of the iconic Shinjuku area and all the changes it has undergone since the original game. And let me tell you, it’s bigger and better than ever!
Now, if you’re a fan of Japanese culture, you probably know that Shinjuku is one of the most famous places in Japan. It’s been featured in countless movies, TV shows, and of course, video games. In the original Persona 5, players could explore this vibrant location, and now we can dive back in with Persona 5: The Phantom X!
In the original game, our fearless protagonist ventured into Shinjuku to gather information about the third palace ruler. It’s also where you could start Chihaya Mifune’s Fortune arcana confidant, or visit the Crossroads bar to kickstart the Devil arcana confidant. And guess what? All these awesome opportunities are back in Persona 5: The Phantom X, but with a fresh twist!
Thanks to the incredible YouTuber Faz, who got early access to the game’s second beta, we can witness the jaw-dropping changes in Shinjuku ourselves. The area has expanded and is now twice as big as before, filled with new shops and restaurants that add amazing depth to the experience. There are even paths and alleys that were previously off-limits, giving us a whole new sense of exploration!
But it’s not just the size that has transformed; the architecture has also undergone a makeover. You’ll notice the Kabuchiko red gate, inspired by its real-world counterpart, making the area even more authentic. And don’t worry, all your favorite spots like Chihaya Mifune’s fortunetelling stand, the crossroads bar, the theater, the flower shop, and the book store are still there, ready to be rediscovered.
