The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – A Hilarious Interaction with Sages

Tears of the Kingdom

A player recently shared a hilarious clip that perfectly captures the quirky side of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Despite its lauded reputation among fans and critics, it seems that even a game as brilliant as this has its share of peculiarities. Let’s dive into this comical mishap!

In Tears of the Kingdom, Sages are the spiritual avatars that Link encounters throughout his quest, each possessing unique abilities. Take Tulin, for example, a member of the bird-like Rito race who can unleash a powerful gust of wind. Perfect for gliding or conveniently blowing enemies off cliffs, right? Well, not always!

Fans have raised concerns about the implementation of the Sages in Tears of the Kingdom. They can sometimes feel finicky and cluttered, as if they all decided to hang out on a Battle Talus together. And oh boy, did one player, gwartabig, experience the full extent of this quirkiness!

Zora’s Domain

While gliding around Zora’s Domain, gwartabig landed on a small patch of land with a tiny rock at its center. Simple enough, right? They pressed the A button to pick up the rock, only to find themselves surrounded by all the Sages at once. Oops, not what they had in mind!

You see, a Sage’s power becomes available when Link is near them, and the A button is the key to activating their abilities. All our poor gwartabig wanted was to collect a Korok seed, but instead, they unintentionally unleashed the powers of three different Sages. Talk about unexpected consequences!

There are a couple of issues at play here. First, players have no control over which Sages appear at any given time. It’s an all-or-nothing deal. Second, all Sage powers are activated using the A button, which is also the primary interaction button in the game. This unusual setup leads to accidental activations at the most inconvenient moments.

It’s quite amusing to think that despite Tears of the Kingdom’s polished gameplay and captivating world, this one quirky system manages to stand out like a sore thumb. Poor gwartabig ended up bombarding an innocent Korok with a barrage of attacks, completely unwarranted!

But fear not, fellow gamers! Don’t let this hiccup deter you from exploring the enchanting world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It’s an adventure filled with creativity, excitement, and yes, occasional hilarity.

So grab your Nintendo Switch and embark on this epic journey. Just remember, when in doubt, beware of the mischievous Sages and their button-mashing abilities!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now, ready to whisk you away into a world of whimsical wonders.
